An Angolan Party Central Committee statement referred to Angolans' great consternation at the murder of their great friend, Maurice Bishop.
It added that contrary to the constructive attitude of peace loving countries in leaving the people of Grenada to find their own solutions US imperialism had invaded the country a further unspeakable act of military aggression by US imperialism.
Angola expressed its admiration for the people of Grenada and the Cuban solidarity workers in that country.
Radio Lusaka has also reported a statement by a Foreign Ministry spokesman that Zambia unreservedly condemns the invasion of Grenada just as it had strongly' condemned the callous murder of its Prime Minister.
It said Zambia did not accept the argument that an invitation to the USA from certain Caribbean States to act against another sovereign state justified the invasion.

In Dar es Salaam the Foreign Ministry has expressed shock at the invasion and condemned it and the murder of Maurice Bishop.
The Tanzanian Party paper "Uhuru" described the two events as equally repulsive.

Ethiopia has expressed solidarity with the people of Grenada.
A statement from the Foreign Ministry said the aggression against Grenada had been unprovoked and premeditated to claim otherwise was pathetic.

Libya has called for an international alliance to invade the United States and rescue humanity and civilization which is being buried in Grenade.
Reacting to the US invasion of Grenada the Libyan leader Col Qaddaffy noted that the current events in Grenada have killed the hopes of smaller nations like Grenada of being able to live on this earth. What is happening now in Grenada has not only killed the freedom of the people of Grenada but also the civilization of the 20th century and exposed it as a fraud, he said.
Col Qaddaffy compared the coming to power of people like Reagan in an aggressive country like the USA as an indication of the defeat of humanity and a return to the era of barbarism, the law of the jungle and illogicality.
The only thing that can rescue humanity and civilization, which are now being buried, is an international alliance to invade the United States itself and impose the principles of humanity, freedom and justice, as well as to purge the spirit of evil and Nazism in the United States, which has become a threat to the freedom of all the smaller nations and world peace, Col. Qaddaffy added.
