Poets' Corner
Liberation is Love
And though I tell youLiberation is Love
It is not meant to be
Only a mind thing
Not simply
A feeling thing
Simply not
A bubble blowing concert/
But a reality of activity
An actuality of changing
As all things have been till now
It is not simply
A hunger for food
But obtaining the food itself
Not simply
A desire for decent housing
But the house itself
Not at all a need for clothing
But the very cloth itself
It is not simply
Statehood, statements and statesmen
Masquerading
As the people of this or that/
But a working consciousness/
Working hands
And working minds
Forwarding a new world onward
This I tell you
Is Liberation
Is Love.
